GIS is an electronic system used to store, process and display geographic information, especially maps. The City of Pensacola now uses Avineon's GIS portal: City GIS Site. You can learn more about the city's GIS applications on their intro page: City GIS Overview.

To view neighborhood boundaries, open the link above and enable the Neighborhood Association layer from the layers menu. Click inside the city limits to see the highlighted neighborhood and details.
